Amy & Jeff {just because and a tiny sneak peek}

It was hot. Really, really hot. and humid. Amy sent me a message saying that they were running late. Butterflies started to set in my stomach. I had never spoken to Amy or Jeff on the phone. We had only communicated via email. I was going into this blind as Amy & Jeff were also. Soon after they arrived, I just new this was going to be a great shoot.

They are so in tune with each other. They have a wonderful connection. They are in love and it shows. We hit it off after talking only for a few minutes. Everything fell right into place.

I have been visualizing this shoot for quite some time. I would drive by and visualize a super cute couple in front of these great store fronts and wall murals. I kept thinking {and hoping} the right couple would come along. And they did….

Amy had these killer boots on… I think I want a pair. Please?

They showed me just how cute they were together. I think they made it even hotter {it had to have been hot, as people were hooting on the street}!

We moved around the corner, to this beautiful wall mural. Just amazing….

Where they showed me just how sweet they are towards each other…

Amy, Jeff looks at you with so much love…
He thinks the world of you, and it shows. I love how he isn’t afraid to show the world exactly the way he feels about you.
It shows in ever gesture he has towards you. You both are beautiful…

and to finish with a couple more pretty portraits…

Thank you so much for sharing this evening with me. It was my pleasure to photograph the both of you.
XOXO- Krissy

On a side note, Amy and Jeff helped me out on a tiny little project.
I am so excited to post the rest, but until then, here is one….

A Tiny Sneak Peek {MN Graduation Photographer}

Just a quick look at a couple of Seniors to kick of the season!
Stay tuned for full posts on these amazing kids….

Alyssa, you are so, so beautiful!

Ethan, you are looking sharp…

Congratulations to the both of you!

A Special Thank You {to a Military Family}…

Nathan gave up a year of his life with Jen & Milly. Jen & Milly gave a year of their lives with Nathan. A year of smiles, laughter, skinned knees. A year of dreams. Tears. Hugs. School programs. Holidays. Days off. A year of lazy days, crazy days, calm days. A year of homework, Family suppers, chores. Things we take for granted because duties were calling for Nathan. To protect us all. So he did. He not only was protecting Jen & Milly anymore. He was to protect all of us.

How do I begin to repay them for their sacrifices? How could I say thank you to the three of them? It seemed like just saying thank you wasn’t enough. I wanted them to have memories that they could always look back on. Special moments, as a Family.

and smile they did…

I just love the way Nathan is looking at me, and Jen & Milly are looking at him… Just melts my heart.

Milly, you are such a blessing to this world and everyone who knows you. You light the room up when you walk in.

I really am in love with Milly in these pictures….

Nathan is now home to protect his two fiery red-heads…
Wow, are these two girls pretty-

and now he is safe, surrounded by his girls.

With unlimited amounts of snuggle time with Milly….

and quite time with Jen.

Jen brought her guitar along and sang a song to Milly and Nathan as they shared some ice cold Izzy sodas. Yum!

I just love this picture of Jen. You are really, really pretty…

and I know Nathan thinks so also. Just look at the picture on the right. Amazing love.

Thank you so much for sharing your life with me. I am blessed to know you and to be able to call you Family. Thank you for all your sacrifices over the last year. Even though you can never get the time back, please know that your services are appreciated. We love you!
XOXO- Krissy

and for my very favorites. I will leave you in a Classic Meyers’ Family Style….

It’s been a long time my friend….

Ok, it’s no lie that I have fallen WAY behind. It has been a month since my last post. I can tell you that it is not because I have not been busy, not because I don’t have any pretty people to show you, or any cutie kiddos.
Because I’ve been working on an entirely new look! New Logo, new site!
First up, a new logo…

My new symbol:

I felt like I was in need of a fresh look, and I believe that I have found a wonderful start. I would like to thank Marie at Daisies and Damask for the logo and the new symbol. I just love it! She is now offering 15% off of all new designs for one week only!

Next up, my new blogsite which is another story. Hopefully, it will be ready this week. I have a TON of amazing images to share including a couple of hottie couples:

A super fun military family:

A wonderful wedding:

And a cute little guy just for starters:

Thanks for understanding! New site will be up very, very soon….

Bees & Blossoms {final thoughts- part III}

This has been such a wonderful day for me! I am so, so honored to be featured on the Wedding Chicks blog. I really can not say enough thank you’s to the amazing vendors who helped me out, because if it wasn’t for you, bee’s and blossoms would not have happened. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I need to thank my models, Cassie & Wade. You played the part. You inspired me. You both were beautiful. Your interaction with each other was perfect. Intimate. Romantic.
Without you guys being yourselves, I don’t believe I would have had as much fun as I did. I would not have been able to be myself and do what I love to do. Create. Capture moments and memories. Thank you.

Cassie, one last image of you because you are so, so pretty…

and Wade, you are not so bad yourself….

To ALL the wonderful people who helped me with this shoot. It was to inspire me and keep me fresh, but I can’t tell you enough that the talented people I worked with are some of the reason’s I just loved doing this. Your talents blew me away. I thank you from the bottom of my heart…

To Kathie {my Mom}, Amy, Shannon, Sarah, and Jenny. You were my rocks when things started to go south. In the end, you made everything run smoothly, and there is NO WAY I could have done this without each of you. I can’t wait for the next shoot….

and to leave you with this killer couple with my favorite shot of the day….
Cassie & Wade, you are stunning.

If you are interested in Sarah’s {independent make-up artist}, Marie’s {cake baker}, or Shannon’s {floral design} services, please email me, as their websites are all in the works.
I would also like to thank White Barn Apple Orchard for allowing me to use their blooming orchard for this amazing shoot and thank my brother Jon, for running back and forth for us.
XOXO- Krissy
